Men’s ministry leaders,

I share your passion in reaching men for Christ, to introduce them to Him, encourage them in their daily walk, and to hold them accountable to God’s standard. To that end, I’ve written and published a not-your-typical daily devotional specifically for men (women can benefit too), using direct language that doesn’t pull punches. We are in a war for men’s hearts. Christ in Men…Today is a weapon that brings Scripture to life in practical ways, many of which I’ve learned the hard way.

A message prepared in the mind reaches another mind; a message prepared in the heart reaches another heart. The 52 weeks, 7 days per week messages in this book were prepared in my heart through trials and blessings, correction of attitudes, a return from drifting, and always by a merciful, patient, and loving Father who never gave up on me. Each week focuses on a specific character quality of Christ (e.g. accountability, brokenness, confidence, humility, leadership, purity, teachable, and many more) and presents seven different aspects of that character.

The book is a product of over 30 years of writing about my own struggles and growth. On that path, I’ve buried two children (1-yr old and 27-year old), been cheated out of a large sum of money by a friend, and been on disability for 2 ½ years from a motorcycle accident that wasn’t my fault. Through it all, God has never abandoned me.
